Do I need to be home when you come to do a quote?

It is not generally necessary for you to be home as long as we have access to the property to view the roof from the ground.

What must I do to prepare for treatment?

Please ensure that all windows are closed, vehicles are not left right next to the building, and access to exterior water is available.

Do I need to be there when you come?

No, however, please ensure that any locks that impede access to your roof or yard are left unlocked in advance.

How will I know when you are coming?

You will be sent an email or phone message to let you know we are planning to work in your neighbourhood the next day. Unfortunately due to unpredictable weather, we cannot accurately give this information too far in advance.

Contact us only if you need to reschedule the work for another day that week. (Let us know now if you are planning to be away and do not want treatment during a certain time.)

Work is weather permitting and is subject to change. We apologize for any last minute delays or cancellations.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cheques, e-Transfers, and credit cards via our email invoice pay buttons. We do not accept payment in person at our Fort St. address.  

Are you properly insured?

Yes, Thomson Roof Treatment is fully insured, and would be happy to provide documentation upon request. Our Worksafe BC number is 282337.

Is gutter clearing included?

Yes, gutter clearing of open gutters is included with the initial treatment. During Re-Treatment there is occasionally an extra charge to clear gutters that are compacted with debris and have not been cleared regularly.

Note: We do not wipe off the exterior of the gutters or clean inside gutters that have a mesh cover or other leaf guard in place.

 

Do you do roof and/or gutter repairs, or gutter cleaning without treatment?

No, we specialize in roof treatment. Ask us and we’d be happy to provide referrals to local companies.
