Preparation

We prepare your roof for treatment by meticulously removing the majority of visible moss by hand while taking special care to respect your roof. Small hand tools and a leaf blower are used to remove loose debris from the roof, skylights, and gutters, and then we tidy up the grounds before we leave your property.

We do not use pressure washing, which can damage your roof and is not recommended by roofing product manufacturers, the Roofing Contractors Association of BC, and Consumer Reports, among others. See "Consumers Guide to Roofing.”

Application

We take care to apply Thomson Roof Treatment to the whole prepped roof surface. Our Treatment is a unique, non-toxic solution and is safe for pets and gardens! It neutralizes any remaining moss, lichen, mold, or mildew spores or root systems that can't be cleaned by hand. Once completely dead, all remaining moss debris unable to be removed by hand without damaging your roof, will be rinsed from the roof over the following months of rain, making it look like a new roof! Our gentle, saturating method of application means your roof stays moss and mildew free for 12-24 months.
